Discover more about Britain’s new zero carbon, high-speed railway! Transport is the UK’s largest emitter of carbon. For the UK to tackle climate change while supporting a growing economy and population, we need more zero carbon transport options. Britain’s new zero carbon, high-speed railway, High Speed Two (HS2) will deliver this from its first day of operations, with every single train powered by carbon-free electricity.
